Since the day we’ve opened our doors for the first time in 2004, we’ve had the pleasure to share our love for gourmet bistro food with the locals as well as with globe trotters from far and wide.
Martine’s supports the Comox Valley’s local producers and suppliers, like Seiffert’s Farm Market in Comox and the resident fishermen based out of the Comox Marina who work hard to provide us with fresh Halibut for our feature dishes. In the summer, our garden blesses us with fresh rosemary, sage, mint, and many other herbs that inspire our weekly fresh sheets.
Marcus has owned and operated Martine’s Bistro for over 20 years. Marcus has an extensive 40 year background of working in kitchens within the culinary field. Marcus has been a successful restaurateur for over 30 years, initially owning and operating a restaurant in White Rock, BC. Marcus met his wife Shauna in 2018, and they married in 2021. They presently spend their days working at Martine’s together, and live and enjoy life in the beautiful Comox Valley, with their son’s Noah and Benjamin.
